Snowflake gift tag

One last gift tag inspiration for the season!   Merry Christmas Everyone!

I just love these oversize gift tags!  They make your packages look very professional....even if you are not a good wrapper like my husband!  The tag measures 3 1/8" x 6 1/4".

Season's Greeting Snowman Christmas Tag

This tag was quick and easy.  Look through your Christmas 12 x 12 pads and look for the cut apart sheets.  These can be used to make quick projects.

I used the largest die from the Tim Holtz Framelits set to die cut the tag from kraft cardstock.  The Simon Says Stamp Season's Greetings die was cut from red glitter cardstock.

Kraft & White Merry Christmas Tag

I just love kraft tags and pairing with white just gives a simple but beautiful effect.

I used the largest die from the Tim Holtz Framelits set and die cut it from kraft cardstock.  The Birch Curved Merry Christmas is die cut from Neenah cardstock.  The snowflakes are embossed with Ranger Super Fine Detail white powder.

Christmas Cards

Here are a few of the Christmas cards I made to send out to family and friends.  I was going to make a video with all my cards, but I remembered after I sealed the last envelope! LOL

Christmas stencil tags Part 2

After being sick, Thanksgiving, Family and decorating for Christmas I am finally back to add finishing touches to these tags!

This video shows all the tags and finishing the tag with the Snowman.

Christmas stencil techniques

I love playing with stencils.  There are so many different ways to use them.  Today I used three of my Christmas stencils to demonstrate some of these techniques.  Then I used tag dies from the Tim Holtz Framelits die set to cut them into tag shapes.  In my next post I will add embellishments to finish these out.

I used texture paste and a turquoise pigment powder mixed together on this snowflake stencil.

This one is just sprayed with Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Raspberry.

These are also sprayed with the same color shine only a lighter application.  Looks very different on white card stock.

Holiday knit stencil with white texture paste on red card stock.

These were white on white then once the texture paste was dried I took mini Distress Ink cubes in Twisted Citron and Candied Apple and lightly rubbed them across the surface.
