Cricut Wine Tag: Spring Butterflies

Wine tags are a great way to dress up a bottle of wine to gift for any occasion.  And the back side can be used to write a special message to the recipient.

This is a clean and simple one layer project using a couple of stencils, stamps, Distress Ink and Simon Says Stamp ink.

I have a bunch of these pre-cut from Neenah 110# solar white and Kraft card stock.  These are such fun to make and are quick projects.  This one took me under 15 minutes and that includes the time to gather all the supplies!

The vine stencil and butterfly stamp set combo I used on this project I really don't recommend due to quality of the product.  I have linked in my supply list alternatives.

Easter 2017: Cards 1 & 2

These cards were created using the products from the Simon Says Stamp March 2017 card kit.

Both of these cards are top folding A2 size cards (4.25" x 5.5").  I stamped the bunny, chick and eggs from the Some Bunny stamp set on Canson XL watercolor paper with Versafine Black Onyx ink and coated that with clear embossing powder.  This creates raised lines to help contain the watercolor.  I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a water brush to color all the elements.  I used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut out all the pieces.  

I used Green Apple card stock as my first layer.  Then a piece of the patterned paper die cut with the largest rectangle from the MFT Die-Namics Wonky Stitched Rectangles.  The next piece is 80# Neenah that I used the stencil and the Nuvo Mousse Pure Platinum and the palette knife.  The sides are die cut with the cross stitch border from the Lawn Fawn Stitched borders set.  This piece is popped up using craft foam.

The inside is finished off with a sentiment from the stamp set and a couple of the Easter eggs.

This card uses the Orange Peel and a strip of another piece of the patterned paper separated by a piece of glitter tape from Cricut.  The teal of the glitter tape matches great with the Aquarimine Nuvo Mousse!  

This time with the stencil I used all three colors of the Nuvo Mousse and a sponge to apply.  I also embellished with yellow Enamel Accents from Ranger.  Just a quick tip when working with the Enamel Accents, make sure the piece is flat to dry or the dots can miss shape on you! But these do dry in a nice dome and glossy.

The inside is simply finished with a sentiment from the stamp set and two of the Easter eggs.
